In Dangerous Gifts (Oxford University Press, 2021), Ozavcı analyzes Western interventionism in the Levant and foregrounds the agency of non-Western actors while revisiting the Eastern Question with an innovative approach. Ozan Ozavcı is an Assistant Professor of History at Utrecht University. Ayşe Zarakol will serve as the discussant. Zarakol is a Professor of International Relations at the University of Cambridge.
