Book Talk/Lecture by Zozan Pehlivan: The Political Ecology of Violence: Peasants and Pastoralists in the Last Ottoman Century

Drawing on insights from climate science, agronomy, and zoology, Pehlivan offers a groundbreaking perspective on how extreme climate disruptions fueled tensions between Christian Armenian peasants and Muslim Kurdish pastoralists.
